I have been visiting Tirupati for over few decades.on pilgrimage. I always found the distinct lack of good accommodation in this temple town. I also had the opportunity to checkin most of the hotels across the ranges. am happy to inform of one of the best hotels in Tirupati that I have chanced to locate on the web.
What I liked best at this hotel:
Brand new property, well maintained, polite and professional service
Spacious rooms( I have stayed at 107), with excellent facilities
Well appointed rooms with comfortable bed, good sleep quality ambiance and environment
Food that is legendary of this chain( specially after my experience with Hyd branch at Himayatnagar)
Excellent high speed connectivity at the business center
What I wanted improvements?
Clarity on the check in and check out timings. I have booked it on Makemytrip & there was ample confusion on the check out timings. Though the hotel and agency have informed of the 24hr checkout there is a clause that says 9pm as the checkout which makes a consumer to believe or perceive that over and above 24hrs it is extendable free of cost till 9pm next day.
But hotel folks specially Mr.Susai has been very warm and professional to understand the issue and did extend the checkout time till 9pm the next time: which is sincerely appreciated.
Name plates: on business center, reception, restaurant etc, with some distinct terms
Food: yes while the Andhra Veg Food is excellent, going by the fare one would get at its Himayatnagar branch, I felt that the quality of food can be improved
AC levels in Lobby & common rooms can be improved
Toiletries while are provided on request; can be made available on regular routine basis
Similarly complimentary bottled water, can be stocked up by the housekeeping
Some nice ethnic paintings can adorn the walls
Rooms can also have some literature specially on the pooja timings, rituals, some tips to the guests on how to access Tirumala and adjoining areas
May be a guest book on hotel facilities and near by places, can be added
Can add a free shuttle van for the guests between the hotel and near by places like, railway station, bus station or some prominent stops. It would only increase its appeal value and also provides a differentiation.
Overall: very good; sincerely wish they maintain the property unlike the usual phenomenon associated with any such good property in such pilgrim towns.
