Last year we came across this hotel when we were searching for a decent night stay during our Goa trip. We couldn't book online as the trip was not well planned. From Bangalore highway,the location was a bit difficult to find. We had to rely on GPS. The reservation was done very fast,the reception guys are very helpful. We got an A/C room (pearl) at a good price. The room was quite spacious and clean. The bed was quite comfortable,my baby daughter slept well that night. We ordered dinner from the restaurant upstairs,which was very tasty and the serving size was quite big! One best thing to mention about this place is, the service is prompt and people working here are courteous,much better than any hotel visited by us so far. The night stay was remarkable. We met the manager, Pranjal da here, who guided us the shortest route to Goa. It was a big help, next day we reached Goa safely,quite earlier than expected.
During our return journey we booked the same room again,this time also we got a very good service. So this year our first choice of hotel en route was Hotel Metropolis again. We booked through goibibo this time. But on arrival our choice of room was not available due to some pest control going on,so the booking was upgraded to Sapphire room in new wing. This room was even better,with attached minibar and a better restroom. Our aunty was with us during this trip,for her we got an extra bed at a nominal price. We ordered snacks and dinner from the restaurant and found that the quality has improved a lot! Next morning our breakfast was complementary. We found the buffet really good. Not only the food tasted well,the waiters helped us so much.They served our choice of food on our table when it was a self service,seeing we have a small baby with us.They even brought a separate glass of banana milk shake for our baby seeing that she's liking it very much. Really the service goes beyond expectation and we would like to thank the entire team for their good work. And Pranjal da, he's really the gem of a person! Not only he remembered us,but had a good chat with my hubby like an elder brother. On our way back,he informed us about many rarely known tourist spots around Bangalore,which was again an immense help. So,this short stay was remarkable this time also. I would like to give 4.5 out of 5,the only drawback is the location of this place. Rest is,just excellent!
