I recently, just two days back had a visit to Mysore for the Dussera celebration as Mysuru is famous for the Dussera festival. I had gone with my family and We had gone directly in search of hotel so that we can keep the bags and to get ready and to go out to see the dussera days at Mysore.
The main negative thing that had happened at the beginning was, as it is a festive season for the rooms which were taking only INR 700-800 during normal days, now charged a rate of INR 3000 during this festive season, I understand everybody wants to make money but it shouldn't be like somebody want to cut the throat of a middle class family or poor customers. No problem still, we paid because we need room to stay anyhow.
We went to room, really regretted for paying so much and getting a very small room. we will adjust we thought, then about the blanket and the bed sheet, it was really old and not at all looking fresh. Felt really bad. We asked for another blanket which they didn't give and told we dont have it as the rooms full. I really do not suggest this hotel as we had very bad experience, however I can tell the location of the hotel was good as it near to bus stand, rly station and even to go mysore palace it was easy.
This hotel would be better only one person in a room who goes just to relax at room. Do not expect much here.
