I am a rBusiness Executive traveling to Jammu quite frequently. I made the mistake of checking into this hotel on my last visit in the week ending 25th as no rooms were available in the hotel where I normally stay.
Inspite of a reservation., I was made to sit in the Lobby for close to three hours. The reception was manned by a waiter who did not even allow me to fill up the form initially. the only thing he had to say after every half and hour was, please wait for 15-20 minutes which in the end became an agonising 3 hours.
Finally when I did manage to get a room, I realised that the view from the room window was a tin shed which was close to touching the walls of my room.
The condition of the toilet was pathetic.The room had a peculiar smell of humidity??. The TV was an antique piece with the remote not responding till such time that you went close to the TV. The TV reception was atrocious with only 2-3 channels showing clearly.
The Room Service is not even worth mentioning with the morning tea taking half and hour for delivery.
I must say, the stay was the worst experience I have had in Jammu and one must stay there only if there are no alternatives in Jammu and within 10 kms of Jammu.
