It's good!!!. Review on Hotbot

Another very good search engine with interesting graphics. The first thing that catches you about hotbot.com is the logo, very bright and like a ‘eye’ shape. It’s a nice colour match with lime green and blue.

The search engine itself is very good, surprising how many good search facilities are available to internet users- I’m not complaining.

The searches are very accurate and you go straight to the web pages. Most of the sites are helpful and I have found that they are very easily opened unlike some of Yahoo matches and there’s very few dead links.

Most of the top name search engines like Yahoo, MSN and dogpile.com use hotbot search engines when you use their search engines. So, you may find that when you put the same search in here, you get the similar sites. So, my advice would be to try hotbot.com first.

The good thing about hotbot is that it lets you search hotbot’s navigational sidebar which allows you to perform quick searches for:

-web pages

-stock quote

-domain names

-news groups

You can also modify your search which lets you control what sought of results you want, and you decide how many matches you want. It lets you search by looking for all words, page titles, dates like how recent you want your search and even language.

I think hotbot.com search engine is recommended to people who have tried all other search engines. Although, it doesn’t offer free e-mail or diversify into anything else, it’s a very capable search tool.

The navigation is good and results are produced very quickly.

The homepage, is bright and fancy without being to over elaborate. You can see time has been spent on creating a warm sought of feeling. Perhaps more attention to improving the search engine and it could be up there with the likes of Lycos and yahoo.
