Nice quiet place, only 150km from Bangalore. Haritha Resort best place to stay, very clean, good food in restuarant, beer is cheap. Resort has swimming pool for adults and kids. Adventure activities for kids and adults. Mini zoo rum by the resort is nice. Best time to visit is from Oct - Feb, but ant weekend trip is also good. Road from BLR to HH via Hoskote, Chintamani, Madanpalle is very good. Pick up clay pottery items from Madanpalle, very cheap. All in all, a cheap budgeted one days hill station trip with kids. Anytime better than our Nandi Hills. Rooms and cottages are kept very clean. Hot water, room service is provided.
