I m a unicorn rider since 2004, I had written a review on my bike earlier also and I got a positive feedback about it. In this review I will like to give little more about the specification of the bike and its pros and cons. Hope you will like it.
I will start with:
Looks: Look-wise unicorn is an average looking bike with a slick figure and aerodynamic design, it cuts the air barrier smoothly as the head lamp is designed sharply. For that reason you will not feel any vibrations on bike. Lot of colours are available now with unicorn you can go for any sporty graphics or if want simple then single colored patterns are also available.
Note "Keep the bike on its original graphics, its is easier to maintain it."
Handling: This bike is best in its class for handling. I had try other bikes also but not felt that much comfortable as Unicorn. The main reason what I felt is its evenly balance weight. All weight of engine is evenly distributed on entire frame of bike. Main the weight is on back side of it that why it is little bit difficult while aliening the bike by lifting it from back side.
You will feel its heavy. Handle is hollow steel pipe which is very much comfortable for riders. Uni-suspension gives a proper balance for rider and partner. You will get ride of back pains. Long rides doesn't give me any pain.Bike is more smoother when touches 60kmph.
Note "Never Drive bike above 80KMPL even on Free way as it will not give proper average and also risk of accident will be more"
Average-Pick-up: On city limits I will get near about 48kmpl and of-course of freeway it will give me 52kmpl o little more. It depends upon your driving condition too. Even I heard that this bike gives up to 55kmpl within city limits but for me I was not that much lucky. Anyways, Unicorn is 149 CC bike and having 13 BHP of power which gives it a health pucnh for pick-up. The kick of 150 can be felt when you are at 40kmph and want to accelerate more. It will give a feeling of acceleration on doing it." just have a test ride". you will come to know wether I was tell you the right thing or not?
Note "Never purchase a bike without test drive as your taste will be different from others"
Accessories: I want to make a comment that though I m using the bike since 2004 but never anything serious happened to my bike. Though it went down so many times, but the leg guard had saved my bike lot of times, for that reason I had not gone for high accessories change. Yes but Honda's accessories are quite costlier than other Indian brands. Service stations are excilent while giving the bike for giving bike on service. Honda maintains its service stations very cleanly and most of their customers are satisfied one of them is me.
Note "Put Leg guard because it will save you as well as your bike from further serious damage, and put engine guard for any damage on your engine"
