Great Bike. Review on Honda Unicorn 150 cc

I'm at 1800 km now, going to have a second servicing. My review is based on 1800 km.

Mileage is getting what I expected. One thing I noticed is lower the speed mileage is going very high. Not exactly, but almost "50" at above 60kmph, 55 at about 45-50 kmph and 60-65 km+ at speed below 45. At 65-75 speed with pillion riding it was approx 40-43 only.

None of the mileage is exact figures I figured it out from a range of 100-200 km after 1st service since I covered only 1800 km and 1 service, not the right time to talk about mileage.

Comfort: Not the greatest, but its great. Suspension good.

Realiabilty: Till now Good.

Handling: Good, Some times feels a little big and wide may be I'm a small person.

Look: Its my personal opinion. Its not a generation look compared to fz and other new bikes, but it look better than trigger for me. Still I like the design of this bike. 4.5/5. 0.5 Score lost when it viewed from the back.

But I've some negative to say about this bike.

1. Headlight: Very poor light.

   
   




2. Switches: Passlight switch, Indicator all looks very cheap quality. Low/High beam stucks, and sometimes It turn off when switching between low/high.

   
   




3. Wont start in normal ways in the morning almost 75% times.

2. Silent engine. Its Positive for me, but negative for my friends:-)

   
   




3. Comfort sitting(not greatest, and since i've not rode all bikes but its better than few other I rode) and have enough room for pillion.

   
   

I'm 171 cm height and my both feet can't touch same time at ground is the only problem for me. If you are tall and comfortable with design, its still a good choice.

My overall rating is 4.5/5 now, Riding, comfort and silent engine is most important for me and this one is best for me. I love this.

After 2 Years Nov/20/2015, above 17000km.

Has some minor problems only because I dint give much care.

And so many problems gifted by service centres.

Now

Pros

-

1) Reliable: 2 years now and never put me in any trouble.

2) Smooth upto 90-95, feels like sitting in a weak light weight vehicle above that and very creepy sound.(Just goes that speed for checking how it is)

3) Not feeling much mileage difference with pillion.

4) Tyres still look like new.:-D

5) No back pain after 400km in single day. Last week went 250 km in a day took some rest in between, no back pain, not even felt very tired after journey.

Cons

1) Personaly dislike the seat.(Looks good in trigger's)

2) Cold start if left unsed for 2 days.

3) Changed so many small parts, includes filter, break pad.

4) I really really really hate honda service centres in cochin area. they gave me headache for few days after every service. Every time i've to visit a minimum 3 time to make this able to ride home. 0 times they received satisfied feedback from my side.
