Using The unicorn form 1.3 yearrs.Here the review.

Overall its a good bike .very very stable(has a kerb or unladen weight of 138 kgs which is very good).Thhis means a good high speeed stability. It anyways comes with 3.00 rear tyres which are quite adequatre.though you can add a fatter tyre which could increase the atability even more.;

gearshift is superb.very slick and precise.and the engine is a gem.The bike starts to vibrate a lillte after >50 km/hr or ~4000 rpm .I guess the tuning is meant for the city stop and go traffic. What I mewan to say simply is that for city driving conditions it is amazing peace of mind.

Not that it is a slowpoke either.If you raise the throttle it is pretty quick.Honda never anyways intended for it to be a Hooligan bike.This bike is pure for the level headed person.YOu could anyways add some zing like I have done.Add a K&N filter for 2000 bucks and you are in for a treat bothe in terms off power as wellas the exhaust note.

What else ..fuel efficiency is poor ~42-45 kms ...There is a tendency of wter to seep into the tank owing to poor tank design .so you will be having the bike choking a little after rains etc.This is not a big problem though.

the biggest problem though is the service.It may be specific to just the workshop where I service but I am not sure.Honda really needs to improve on thsi.Anyways my final suggestion given a choice between the pulsar 150(since it is really popular) and the unicorn is that go for the latter the unicorn which is a good 5-6k cheaper .

If you do a quick compare : Uncicorn gives 42km/lt v/s say 55 km/lt for the pulsar and costs ~5000 cheaper.

In order to recover this amount if you were to buy a pulsar you would have to travel a minimum of ~17000 kms at the current rate of ~50/km to recover the differential .So in effect till you dont finish ~17000 kms on your pulsar that extra fule efficiency dosent mean shit.

FInally buy the Unicorn from a reliable sales outlet with a good service workshop(Ask friends etc... for recommendations...)
