Dear all

I have a problem with unicorn 2009 model.

The response to throttle is reduced which causes the engine to lag and sometimes even kills the engine suddenly. Driving in traffic or sudden acceleration is near to impossible. The bike has started to lag down.

This usually happens after the engine gets heated(heated in sense a run of 4-5 kms and not over heated). I have checked with air filter looks fine and clear, but to avoid any problems I changed it. I have checked with CDI and spark plug all fine. Even changed the plug.

I went on to check the carburetor and while doing so the upper part of diaphragm got damaged, for which I changed it but even though the problem looks to persis.

I took the bike to Honda service centre. Where found the bike has a damaged block piston. I did replaced it and also asked them to check the valves, they said the wall of the valves need lapping, I did it but still the problem is persisting.

I haven't checked with the Jet in the carburetor.

The bike has started to lag down over the time. The power, performance and pleasure that all has lost now and I need serious help

Can anyone help me with this? It would be great if someone can at least suggest an excellent mechanic who can sort out the problem please

Regards,

Rajesh Bhapkar
