I, today, booked my Honda Unicorn after a couple of Test rides for 25-30 kms on a friends brand new Unicorn. My experience with Unicorn after driving my second hand 1993 modem Yamaha Rx-100 was nothing less than a totally breathtaking experience.
The very 1st time that I got hold of the Unicorn , I reved it for sometime to feel the smoothness. And the first time I actually sat on the Unicorn, my first words were 'WOW' andf these were for the amazingly styled fuel tank and the grip your legs can have on it for a silky smooth ride.
Once you are on the 5th Gear while driving on 60kmph, I was not able to feel any vibrations and the noise- umm..not noise but the music was too good after the loud but pleasant noise of the Yamaha. As you may have noticed, I feel totally in love with this bike and can't wait to get the delivery on the 1st April.
I am getting it from the Malwa motors in Lajpat Ngr and the crowd there seemed like not much bothered by the sales but what I expect after the sales is a good service - Technically.
About the specifications, the handlebar was placed at a very suitable height and a very good ground clearance, smooth gear shifting, smooth braking system, best of the line rear view and overall a A+ certification from my side.
Anyone wanting a bike which offers a comfort ride minus the mileage prbs should be looking sincerely at this bike. Thumbs up for Honda!!!!
