Hi,

I am vasanth from bangalore, India. I've been waiting for honda to launch their bike from this year. I wanted to upgrade to a power bike from my splendor, I was not impressed with pulsars, especially the oversized tank. I was planning to buy cbz, when karizma's prices were dropped. I even test drove karizma and fell in love with it.

I made regular trips to honda dealers in bangalore (planet honda, dhruvesh honda) but they didn't have any info about their bike, they couldn't tell me when it is going to be launched, worse, they didn't even have any promo material or any picture of the bike. They just had a xerox copy of the bike's picture and it was on their glass table, we could just see it. Then I found out from their website about the bike, they are going to launch it here on october 7th. Bike looks good, speedometer console is very sporty, Overall the bike is shapy and gets 10 out of 10 for looks.

The website had good details about engine, aerodynamics!, mileage and stuff you can expect only from honda. But I was rather disappointed by their decision not to provide selfstart in their bike. It's only a kickstart model. The sales person at planet honda told me that they will launch selfstart model after 6 months. I donno why honda is delaying selfstart.

With out selfstart, the bike is somewhat incomplete. Iam going in for karizma by december, I would have bought unicorn if they had a selfstart model. I hope all other bike makers reduce their prices after unicorn in launched. Karizma now costs 77,331 on road here, I hope herohonda reduces the price further. Just a prediction, but whether they reduce or not, iam going in for karizma, unicorn is with out wings now with out selfstart, I hope honda realises this mistake and brings out selfstart soon.

Thanx

vasanth
