Practical Bike for a young executive

I bought a new Red Color with black graphics Unicorn after using Bajaj Pulsar(of my brother) for about 3 months.

First let me tell you one thing, after riding the Pulsar, the Unicorn does feel slightly underpowered, but take it past 4000RPM, the real beast in the machine awakens to deliver seamless power and loads of riding satisfaction. One bad thing with the Pulsar is its poor gear shifting, which makes the rider nervous during close calls, especially in the high speed highway sections. Nothing of that sort with the Unicorn, with its firm yet precise gear shifting pattern.

The handling of the bike is second to none. It always points to the direction you want it to be and gives good grip while riding on bad roads.

The sitting position is firm and upright, which is good if you have to travel long distances.

The brakes are good but miss the bite of Pulsar. I personally felt Pulsar had better brakes. But that does not make the rider feel uncomfortable or nervous.

Engine of Unicorn is its USP, probably a bigger USP than its MonoShock. Engine is extremely smooth and refined. power delivery is seamless and easily takes you past 50 KPH in no time. I felt the engine was at its optimum performance and refineness above 3500RPM. no noise just pure pleasure.

Fuel consumption is decent at around 60KPH on the high way and 55KPH on city roads.

Monoshock provides firm grip and huge rider confidence on any road surfaces

Overall, a very good bike for a young working executive for daily commuting and offcourse a weekend blast

Pros:

  1. Excellent Engine

  2. Smooth Gear shifting

  3. balance and grip

  4. Strong built quality

  5. Easy on maintenance

  6. Decent looks

Cons:

  1. Low quality horn

  2. Slightly Underpowered compared to Pulsar

3.
