I bought this bike on 9th mar 2009 n am writing this review after clocking 1000 kms on it. I was initially in a gr8 confusion between getting a HH hunk, Apache RTR or Unicorn, was never interested in bajaj Pulsar. Finally I opted for Unicorn....Thanks to MOUTHSHUT!!!!

The smoothness of the bike is really awesome, but only when speed <70...at 70 it hints some vibrations....anyway in a city like bangalore I can't take the risk of crossing 70km h. For guys crazy abt speed can surely opt for Karizma, as I consider that to an excellent bike but in its own class. For highway ride Unicorn may not be a good bike compared to Pulsar 220/180 or Karizma or else a cruiser like Avenger. For 90% of time I use it for commuting between office and home and I limit myself to a speed of 50 -60 kmph.

B4 the 1st servicing i.e. for the 1st 650 kms it had given a mileage of around 52kmpl and after servicing it currently gives around 56 kmpl(superb!!!!). The control of the bike's superb and the braking is amazing. I am able to accelerate from 0 - 50 kmph in around 5 sec (that too without making the engine to put all its power by throttling the bike over 5 k rpm).Tyre grip on road is terrific n the disc brakes wont allow the bike to skid if front and rear brakes applied simultaneously in correct proportion.

I am a guy medium built with height of 5'8" n for me the comfort is really high n the mono suspension has a gr8 role in that. Obviously it wont provide the same comfort level for a guy of 6'0". Its good to luk 4 the driving posture on a bike b4 u analyze the other features.

IF U NEED A GOOD MILEAGE AND LONG LIFE FOR UR BIKE NEVER USE EXCESSIVE THROTTLE FOR SUDDEN PICK UPS....Remember that a cheetah can acquire a speed of 120kmph but the life span is only 11 yrs whr as a tortoise with a max speed of 5 kmps lives for 100 yrs...( Read it smwhr)...Take care of your bike it will definitely be faithful.NEVER TRY TO STRETCH THE CAPABILITIES.... Hope this helps any1 seeking for a bike.....Enjoy your ride!!
