I am a beginner to motorbikes ridingand interested in buying a new bike (pulsar or unicorn).
I had read most of the review's. so ,based on which I had queries which I want to post here now?
please do have BEGINNER in MIND and enlight me on it.
Query
1.How good the mono suspension?
The rubber padding near the mono shock there by prone to dust and dirt fast.
- handling gears?
Unicorn :Picks up very good in each gears.
Smooth and effective gear changes unlike in pulsar( is that a real problem).
The gear shifting is really smooth when compared to pulsar and no false neutrals (remember pulsar).
But the 102345-gear pattern makes a little difficulty when on junctions or for wheelies while the pulsar with all down pattern makes it for lightning quick getaways. please guide me on this.
I am not used with 102345 so I assume that it would be hard for me to switch gears while riding with unicorn (especially in the traffic),
- Disk Breaking.
The disk break is not effective as a pulsar. is that true?
Weight? Doesn’t weigh as heavy as pulsar.
Vibrations The vibrations present in the Unicorn after 1000 kms
Seating How good seating is?
Any backaches in long riding…I heard the pulsar gives u backache in long drives as well as due the seat positioning ( inclined).
- The clutch and Gear box is good in unicorn?
unicorn is on the clutch and gearbox front.
8.Unicorn : Tail Lamp has a problem fuel gauge and Fuel cap.
Also I feel there arent many service stations available as compared with the bajaj?
and there were rumors that unicorn stopped production temporarily and remodelled with some technical changes..
so if the same were to persist then we would be going for a toss... ( I still consider it as a rumour).
Between the looks I go for the pulsar,with alloy wheels it ices on the cake.
please do guide me on this and do suggest me if there any beginner's website for to learn more abt the bikes and bike riding.. Thanks
