Here's the thing, I call myself the biggest Unicorn fan, and I truly am. So I was planning to buy one as I consider it as the best bike in India arguably behind only the Enfield.

While researching and finalising my decision I came across some horrible claims about the new 2012 CB Unicorn! Owners and dealers have continuously pointed that this new Uni is not as reliable as it once was.

Shoking negative points I came across:-

1> Engine not as powerful as before, affecting acceleration, mileage, handling(the pillars of a good

ride( which Uni has undoubtedly provided for so long)

2> Handle bar has been shortened; directly affecting comfort levels

3> Requires more maintenance

I am stuck in  gr8 confusion and frustration! Wish these claims are untrue, I request all the current owners and experienced ppl to clarify these points so that me and others can get a clearer picture of whats goin on wid Honda. Coz  YAMAHA FAZER is the only 2nd best option after Uni costs about 12, 000more(damn)!

As far as I know the only diff in this model as compared to the previous ones is the name, the new improved air filter and a little tweaking of the engine to meet the new(Bharat 3) pollution standards set by the govt. So why the performance dip,

Thanx,

Salman.
