The Honda CB Shine is a 125cc motorcycle developed by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India for the mass market, catering to the regular commute, but with slightly more power than 100cc bikes and better features. It is Honda’s largest selling motorcycle globally, and rightly so, providing a great combination of decent, but understated looks and reasonable performance and good efficiency. The CB Shine has seen its share of upgrades but still offer a very good option in the 125cc motorcycle segment.
The CB Shine is equipped with a 125cc Optimax engine along with Honda Eco Technology(HET), which is said to offer power and fuel efficiency equally well. The design is simple and understated, but yet the CB Shine manages to look handsome and proportionate. It has a pleasing design with a bikini fairing around its simple headlight, flanked by clear lens indicators. An all-black theme covering the engine section, alloy wheels, exhaust and front fork work well to accentuate the CB Shine’s handsome looks.
The Honda CB Shine is powered by a 124.7cc air-cooled, four stroke engine mated to a four-speed transmission system. The engine makes a decent 10.3 PS of power and 10.4Nm of torque. With a strong mid-range performance, understated and handsome looks, and good fuel efficiency, the Honda CB Shine is a great option in the 125cc motorcycle segment offering a fabulous combination of performance, looks, refined engine and great mileage.
