CB Shine SP - Best commuter bike, but overpriced..

Honda Shine is one of the top selling bikes in India. But it is a dated bike. Honda has updated the bike and introduced the new CB Shine SP which is the most premium commuter now available in the market. They gave a slightly more better looks for the bike. The old four speed gear box is now a five speed one. The instrument console is part digital part analogue like the Hero glamour. And the bike is fuel efficient as well. It returns a fuel economy of about 60 KMpL. The only issue is the price. The onroad price here in kerala is about 80 thousand rupees. That is very high for a 125cc bike. The sporty looking hero ignitor is cheaper than this bike. And if you spend a five thousand rupees more, you can have the reliable CB Unicorn 150. I think Honda must have erred in setting the pricing. More ideal price would have been about 75000/- on road. But overall, it is still a nice package. If you buy this bike you may not regret it.
