I have a Honda Shine model - 2009 , and have clocked 20K Kms. My experience with the bike has been mixed - let me tell you whats good about it first. 1. The build quality is good , 2. The seating position is great , 3. Engine is quite powerful , smooth and gears are a pleasure to change , 4. Mileage is a decent 67 Km/lt in city conditions .Now the not so good aspects of the bike - 1. Beyond 50 Km/hr this machine turns into a Vibrator , 2. The Chain & sprocket assembly is flawed & needs to be corrected by Honda as it wears down and will require replacement every 10K kms. 3. The vehicle seems to be missing a 5th gear .
Honda India you need to resolve these issues quickly also recall the vehicles and correct the problems .
