He Shine SP uses the same engine as the regularHonda CB Shine, which is the 124.73 cc air-cooled single-cylinder carbureted engine that delivers 10.57 bhp of maximum power at 7, 500 rpm and 10.30 Nm of peak torque at 5, 500 rpm. While the CB Shine uses a four-speed gearbox, the CB Shine SP features a five-speed transmission.
Apart from the differences in styling and the gearbox, the Shine SP is similar in hardware aspects to the Shine.
