I have been using my Honda Shine for about 6 months, its a good bike to ride on, comfortable(for short rides), sturdy and gives good performance.

I wanted to buy Apache or Pulsar kind of bike.because of seat elevation I had to cancel the plan and thought of buying Honda splender . But as I wanted a bit diffrent look I did opt to go for Shine.

The disc brake is awesome, But when you go beyond 60-70 bike starts a bit vibration. But I say this is not a racing bike where you would be racing against Pulsar or Apache kinda bikes. Its a perfect city usage bike.

The self start is also great but the first time in the morning I have to always use choke before starting.

The bike gives a reasonable mileage of 50 to 58 Kms/litre. On the highways its nearly 60 to 64 kms/litre. I am not sure how others experience is but when I tried BP-speed petrol I got average of around 60-65km/lit.

I miss 5th gear to this bike.specially when I ride at the speed of 60+

The displacement of rear tyre should be more.!

Finally I say perfect Family Bike!
