After using Honda Activa for 3 years on 9-5 job ( max 25kms/day) then after moving to a different job ( average 60kms/day travelling) suddenly activa was not so attractive indeed. What with 44 kms /litre .
Then I had options for going for a bike or geared scooter. But for a 40 year old with wife and 2 kids bikes are not very attractive ( try carrying something). Then after long research including reviews here, last month I purchased Honda Eterno around 37,000 including accessories and dont have any regrets.
What I like in this vehicle are solid build quality and commonsense approach. With a good solid body, reliable engine , great mileage, practical utility this scooter should last you a lifetime. It has enough power(8 bhp) and gives great mileage (62 kms/litre, there is slight error in odometer).
Ride quality is simply brilliant for a scooter. Gear changing is simple and scooter will do its job with minimum fuss. Horn may be squeaky but without battery maintainance will be practically nil in a vehicle. It may look very conservative and not very stylish, but this was not meant for college students.
Solid build quality, reliable engine with excellent mileage , no nonsense approach in everything and lifetime asset for you is HONDA ETERNO
