My third review in this site. I like this site. ok. coming to the point.
Almost 1.5 year I bought a DIO.
Why DIO.
Need a vehicle (Two wheeler) which Me and my wife can ride and some space in the front to keep things like grocery etc. No Long distance (I mean more than 10 KMs one way)
I went to dealer Silicon Honda, in Bangalore.
Those guys were not interested in Selling Active which was my interest of buying.
They have artificially increased the delivery time as 2 months or so for Active and 1 week for DIO.
I was badly need of a Two wheeler and I have no option. Went for it.
For some reason till close to 9 months I would say, I cannot start the engine without choke. Each time, I take it to the dealer, that guy will keep the vehidle in Centre Stand. Dont go beyond 35 KMPH.
Its expensive for servicing. He was charging close Rs.400 - Rs. 500 each time even thought its a free service.
After free service is over, I stopped going to the dealer service place. I found a guy who is decent enough and Sure not rob you with his stuff.
Now its running smooth and no issues.
Ah.. one more thing. Sales guys promised for 42 - 45 KMS per litre. Never it gave that much. Max I got was close to 35.
Please remember, I am very cautious driver. I wont go more than 40 or so, no rash driving and regular maintenance.
One thing I liked about it, is cleaning. Just take a wet cloth and wipe all over the place and she is nice and clean.
Sitting in the rear seat is not comfortable and their rear shock absorbers are not so good.'
Even in small bumps at lower speed, it hurts a lot on my back.
Head light. Its all some wierd design. Not enough at all.
Putting main. You need to eat well to do this. The sales guys know some trick for doing this. He was doing so easily. Me, my couple of friends tried. Never came up.
Dont go to Silicon Honda. Never. Try one in Indira Nagar or some where. Some Haiku Honda. It seems they are good.
Silicon Honda is too crowded all ways, both sales and service. They are not good.
To conclude: I will give like 50 out of 100 for this.
