My friends call my civic a ship, and me the captain....so what Civic is a cruiser. I love him to the core...Its over a year since I got my Civic. From Day one our friendship grew. Its a drivers car, very passionate and responsive.
So many reviews are there already on Civic, but I wanted to write a few words after driving him for a year. I am happy with the mileage - gives 10-12 in city and consistant 12 on the highways with my kind of zipping. Touched 192 kmph in Krishangiri - chennai road.
Suspensions are very nice, but soft - had a couple of times in the last one year touched some stones and humps, but nothing dangerous have ever happened. It pays to be dead slow over humps and potholes - after all that is not the place where we show off :)
Music system by alpine is deadly for all types of music. I love it, though it does not coonect to my ipod. Seats are comfy, but I need a lumbar support since I drive too much and my back aches after a couple of hours....A towel rolled in comes handy.
I love the wipers in heavy rains. They are very good and covers the whole wind shield....Nice and stable at high speeds, taking curves at speed is a charm..quite safe....My kids love to be at the back..lots of space for them to keep all their items and move around...Its almost like their running room :)
On the whole I like my Civvy as a family car, my ferrari, and my friends ship:) Done 16k, wanting to do more.............will be back next year for a 2 year ownership review............
