Truly a gem of cars..... Review on Honda City 1.5 Exi

I have been driving this car from last 2 years and today I have decided to put my review comments here...because I feel I know it well by now...Honda City GXI is my first car and I fell in love with its sporty looks and aerodynamic design...many people warned me against buying a big car as it is not going to be easy to drive in Bangalore traffic condition...but trust me, I learnt to drive and managed it well in this car...thanks to superb Japanese technology...the gear box is very smooth, power steering is so good, ample leg space (which is very imp for a tall person like me...even Ford Fiesta failed here), soft and comfortable seatings (only PVR seats can match up to this :-) ), zero cabin noise (close all windows and you wont hear any outside sound), large boot space(atleast 1 person can sleep with legs folded..and yes my frnd tested it :-) ) and last but not the least its fuel efficiency which no other car in this segment can match up with...not even some small cars like santro...currently I am easily getting 12-13 kmpl in the nightmarish bangalore traffic and on long high way stretch I am getting 16-17 kmpl (if you drive with mileage in mind then 18 kmpl shouldn't be impossible).

I have driven it to Ooty, Coorg  (Madikera) and Tirupathi and I never

had any problem with its pickup or handling in ghat sections....even in city traffic it is very easy to handle and control....

Couple of things which I felt could have been done better was the ground clearance (which is fixed in City ZX), bit more power (VTEC was an answer to this), fog lamps (again City ZX), air bags and AC vent in back seat...

Overall I am very happy with this car and its really worth the money that you invest on it..it is very low maintenance and high performance vehicle...
