I started looking for a used Sedan Car for myself about 8 months back. After going thru the experiences of others, and a lot of research, I got myself a Honda City 1.3 Exi, 99 Model from Honda Terrace (Used Honda Cars from Honda). It had ard 56K on ODO
My purchase decision was against the opinion of many ppl as they said the Car is too Old to be good. But within a week I was sure and happy that they were wrong. My Car is a dream to drive, the driving is too smooth. and the AC very effective. initially I did feel the seat position to be little uncomfortable but now having used to it , it just feels fine...
Having clocked ard 2K Km, the Car had by now proved to be worthy of its Brand but I had one concern left, the fuel consumption...
I remember how nervous I was at the Petrol station while I was getting the tank full to check the average. just as the tank got full, without caring for the other Cars in line, I took out my pen paper n started calculating the average. n my friend sitting next to me could make out from my face that it was a good news, This machine gave me 15kmpl, that too wen it was run mostly from my home to office n back (Total ard 6 km) only.
I cant wait to check hw much it gives me on Highways !
So guys, the Car is owesome, May be coz its the model that was manufactured in Japan n was imported to India. (98, 99 models).
Truely, Gem of an Engine, Jewel of a Car !!!
