Pretty good. Review on Honda CBF Stunner 125

I own a Bajaj  Discover 135 for the past 2 yrs. this Bajaj bikes sucks when they are 2I have a lots of problem due to its reliability. I get lot of unwanted noise raised from the bike when I drive it after 2 yrs and have almost changed everything like Disc plates, Caliber-housing unit for disc brakes, brake pads, self start relay, neutral relay, brake light switch, head lamp bulb, speedometer coil for 3 times, trip meter clamp which fell of without any physical damages and so many. The service center people doesn’t know any other word than to to say CHANGE. Yes. They cant correct any mistakes in your bike, they are capable of only removing a whole part and replace it with new one and hand over a bill for some 1000s.

But still the engine is so smooth to drive and the power delivery from 135cc is 13.5 BHP. I can compete equally with any 150cc.

No resale value as Bajaj tends to change even their best selling models in 6 months of time.Even you can find it difficult to get the genuine parts of the bike from Bajaj dealer itself after the model is out of market after 1 yrs. they can simply water wash your bike well. cant expect anything other than that.

So I had ideas to shift over toHH glamor, but not much satisfied with its pick up and style even though it would be reliable.

So I got a Stunner now. it is good in case of reliability, smoothness and STYLE. Bajaj bikes are a ditch in matter of style accept few versions of pulsar. but my new stunner makes people turn at him when I cross in a road which my discover wasn’t able to do even a single time in it’s whole life.

But being used to a 13.5 BHP of that of Discover  this 11 BHP of Stunner doesnt feel the same in case of pickup and power. i definitely miss my Discover at that point.

When I drive this bike I feel a little uncomfortable and different when the front console for headlamp, speedo doesn’t turn along with handle bar, as i’m used to only such bikes since I learned to drive a bike  for the past 10yrs.

Apart from this Stunner presented me with a lots of positives for dropping Discover and choosing him. They are1) STYLE - Discover doesn’t have even 50% of Stunner’s2) RELIABILITY - I can use the same bike for another 5yrs minimum without problem whereas No one can own a Bajaj without problem after 2yrs.3) STABLE AND GRIP BECAUSE OF MRF TYRES - Bajaj gives only poor quality Eurogrip which almost is gripless and can skid you even for brakes at low speed.4) TUBELESS TYRES - Tension free to worry of puncture and bad roads.5) I GET 10 KM OF EXTRA MILEAGE THAN MY DISCOVER’S 58 KM / L.

Concerns:1)Even though I consider 62k is a bit more for Stunner even u have to spend another 1k for extra fittings. Even the number plates have to be fixed on your cost.I got my Discover for just 54k which is 9k less than 63k.2)Uncomfortable to get used to the fixed doom type after using normal types for past 10yrs.3) No Digital Speedometers, mono or nitrox  suspensions even at this price tag.4) Hard to imagine how much will Honda tag for a Stunner with Digital Consoles, mono shocks, extra BHP

Over all I’m satisfied with sacrificing the above concerns considering the positives I got from it though. 

Stunner Can compete with all Big Bikes in STYLE, but not on power.
