I bought this bike some 10 days back.Mine is a red one with black stripes on it..As the dealer said I have to wait for 1 month more if I want the disc version..So I choose the drum version as it was readily available..It will cost u around 59000 with all the add ons..
Now lets come to the review..
When it comes to looks this bike steals the show..Believe me there is not a single a day when I am nt tired of answering people's questions like mileage, price power etc etc..one person even took a photo in his mobile while the bike was parked..If u r riding the bike be ready for some head turning towards u..And it really make u feel little proud..so full marks..
The seating posture is definitely comfortable.It looks sporty..but the seating is just perfect not too sporty..So no back pain ..this point is necessary to mention as it is really tiresome to ride in b'lore..
I have not really checked the mileage ..I travel daily 40-45 kms daily and I have guessed its giving 45-50 in city conditions..so not too bad..
It is 125 cc bike with 11 bhp..So if u r performance biker I don't think u'll like it.I am a safe rider..just a commuter..so its ok for me..As the 1st servicing is not over I don't cross 50km/hr limit.(the showroom person has advised me).I didn't feel any special pick-up in 1st and 2 nd gear.but when its come to 3rd and 4th gear it does whatever it can (with its limited power) to make u feel u r riding a higher cc bike..
As we know Honda is known for its quality.so I m also expecting the same from the bike..Riding is really smooth..the sound is also very smooth (smooth like makkhan).The rear tyres are little wider than others in the segment..the tubeless tyres are really a plus point..
The lighting, horn everything is good.
Now comes the negatives..When the bike is in 5th or 4th gear and a signal comes I stop the bike and try to lower the gear, it stucks.Again I have to move a little to make it neutral or so..so may be some gear box problem..(I m very poor in tech stuffs.so dnt know much) .I dnt know this is a problem in general or just my bike is an exception.
No tachometer is also a demerit.
The turning radius is little less compared to other bikes(That may be becoz of the integrated body cowl)...But it won't create any problem
As I have bought 10 days back ..can't write more..Will update soon...
Buyers note:
There are only 2 bikes in 125cc segment which we can say good are Gladiator(ss & rs) , and Stunner..the later has some advantage over the previous one..e.g. Looks, tubeless tyres, split seats, integrated body cowl..but that comes for a price of 6k to 7k more..
So its ur take which one to go for..
