This is my first review on mouthshut.com...I had just sold my Hero Honda Passion Plus and was looking out for a good fuel efficient bike as I travel daily from Uran (New Mumbai) to Andheri for my job is which 100kms up down...

Did a lot of research on mouthshut and various websites...finally zeroed upon the Honda Stunner and Bajaj XCD...After somemore research I came to the conclusion that the Bajaj XCD was a fuel efficient bike but wasnt durable enough..

Finally a month ago I purchased the Honda Stunner CBF yellow drum brakes for RS56700...I simply fell in love with this machine at first site..Excellent purformance mileage with great sporty looks..The bike is an absoulute headturner, where people actually turn around and look at your bike...Until the first service I never exceeded 40kms/hr and after the first service I always maintain a speed of 50-55ksm/hr...most of my ride is 80% Highway and 20% in the city..

And it easily gives me a mileage of 60kms/Ltr ever since I purchased it...There were no changes in the mileage even after the first service..I believe that the mileage actually depends on the road conditions and the way you ride it..there was a minor defect in the upper dipper switch in the beginning which was fixed during the first service..Until now I did not even feel any vibrations in the bike as I had read in many reviews..

But yes sometimes when you go above 50 in the fifth gear you still feel as if the bike is still running in the 4th gear and you feel there is a need of an additional gear..I never regret my decision on purchasing this bike..Im soon planning on a long adventure trip from Mumbai to Goa..So if your planning on a bike you can go ahead with your eyes shut...I love the ride...Its my pride.
