Stunner Rocks. Review on Honda CBF Stunner 125

I went to buy shine and I was astonished to see this black steel horse in showroom. I thought it was 200-250 japanese honda. But amazed to see a 125 bike with such a great styling. I waited 2 month to get this. I purchased stunner around 5 month back and i've finished 4th servicing and its perfect time to review it. First of all it is not for premium bike lovers nor for the commuters, it lies somewhere between.

It has great looks surely and After all it is honda. You can rely upon the brand name. First its positive aspects: 1. It looks great. You can be distinguished in crowd. It is better designed than any other honda/Hero honda bikes. Truly sporty look. 2. It has great power for 125cc bike.11 BHP is enough for this devil. and with 5 speed gear box it outstands in its segment. 3. It has good economy in fuel consumption in comparison to its power. It averages around 40-45 kmpl in Kathmandu city and 50-55 in highway. but for economically you have to drive accordingly. 4. Starting is so smooth.

Your engines roars with a single touch. No need to mention the sound of the engine. Its very much silent like shine and unicorn. Secondly its negative aspect. 1. It has some problem in gear box. When you suddenly slow down and you are in 3-5th gear, it wont accelerate until you come down to 1st. and sometimes your gear sticks, 2. Pillion rider is not comfortable. Though its pillion seat is raised but for a long drive above 50km, I won't suggest you choose this bike. 3. Mileage!!! it drops drastically to 30-35 when you are driving above 65kmph in highway. But it delivers good 45-55 kmpl if you drive around 40-55 kmph. 4. If you are driving in Nepal, you'll get hell of problem with servicing and after sales service. There are very less service centers of Honda here in KTM. 5. Switches are not so smooth. When wet or you travel in dusty road.

All switches are hard to operate 6. When suddenly applying brakes, YOU ARE NOT SAFE GUYS!!Fuel tank is too high. And it should have more capacity. upto 12 lts. It has only 10 ltr tank. Lastly, if you are looking for good sporty, powerful bike don't go for it. You have better options like Unicorn, Pulsar 200, 220, Karizma. If you are looking for a economic bike don't go for it. But if you like something with great style and good mileage, you don't have other options. you'd go for HONDA STUNNER CBF125 and Guys GLADIATOR sucks!
