Hi I purchased cb300r in march 2022. I went for this bike simply because of its light weight and 30ps and around 27 nm torque.
my inital impressions doesnt matter as I was smitten with the configuration of this bike. I desperately wanted to own it.
now after driving for more than 8 months I see some draw back in this bike.
fuel tank is 9 litres only:- if you planning a long trip, frequent fill ups are required.
fuel efficiency:- I drive this bike only on soft throttle in the city, I get 34 kmpl. which is low. as I dont even hard push the bike on highways.
not good on highways:- this bike is worse than suzuki 250 which I owned earlier than this bike . the weight of the bike being low, winds easily shake the whole bike and make it very unstable on high speeds of 80kmph.
fuel tank hardware:- while filling up the petrol the fuel tank lid is awkwardly constructed. the Nosel finds it hard to place in the tank. many times the fuel spills over the tank.
the price:- on road price of 3 lacs.
