I had been using Unicorn for the past 2 years and looking for an upgrade. I heard the announcement of Dazzler being launched. I patiently waited for the launch and when the bike was available I took a test ride. I booked the bike and using it for the past one month. I covered 400 kms so far and I am absolutely satisfied.

Here are my observations from the day of test drive till now

Mileage.

I got 48 kmpl in my Unicorn and I expected the same in Dazzler, but I am getting 52 kmpl in Dazzler, this is because, Dazzler is 8kg less weight.

Price

On road, it comes around 75000 which is almost equal to Yamaha FZ, but FZ's mileage is only 43 kmpl, so its ruled out by me.

New Features

Being tired with Unicorn's plain aspects, I am happy with Dazzler's upgrades. Dazzler has got digital speedometer, rear disc brakes, naked chain, two color seats and new tank hangs on both sides with 3D, silvery Honda Logo.

Pickup

Dazzler pickup is better than Unicorn, so very good for slow city traffic, at the same time fuel will not be consumed more, because, the pickup is gradual and there is no sudden rush.

Gears

Gears shifting is easy in Dazzler, same like Unicorn, clutch is butter smooth and the light weight of bike makes it fly to 70, 80 km speed easily, but you have to shift gears at 5 rpm or above for a more quicker power.

Top Speed

I attained 123 kmph speed in speedometer once in the highway, no vibrations and Dazzler is absolutely stable. I attained only 116 kmph in Unicorn, hence Dazzler wins the race.

Braking

With rear disc and front disc combined, braking is very impressive and you can confidently slam the brakes, no skidding. Honda uses progressive braking, which means, the brakes will be applied uniformly and cuts the speeds quickly without giving jerk to the rider.

Suspension

Mono suspension of Unicorn is also used in Dazzler. The suspension is firm, and absorbs most of the bad things in road. You can set the suspension to soft, hard or medium based on your choice. This suspension is best for the rider and good for the pillion.

Ride Quality

Dazzler's handle is lighter than Unicorn, and more easy to turn as well as good in slow moving traffic. Now, since Dazzler is quicker than Unicorn, I need to calculate before hand to find my way in traffic, but with the rear disc brake, I am confident that I can manage panic moments by slamming both brakes and bring Dazzler to halt.

Seat Height

Dazzler uses 17 inch wheels, the seat height is less by 12 cm, hence more easy to handle. Now, Dazzler will suit more short men like me. Seat has good thigh support and also suitable for long distance travel, I tried once travelling 80 km continuously, no problem!

Overall Performance

I am completely satisfied with Dazzler's performance. The ride quality is good, the pick up is better than Unicorn, top speed is more, mileage is 4 km more than Unicorn, and Dazzler has got new features too.Test Drive once and you will know the difference yourself. Dazzler is a best upgrade to Unicorn and also to u if you are going to buy 150cc bike.
