Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India(HMSI) announced its aggressive'Bigger, Better & Bolder' roadmap for FY'2015-16 on Friday and launched its brand new premium motorcycle CB Unicorn 160 for the Chennai market.
The new CB Unicorn 160 is conceptualized keeping the youth in mind, which is visible in its sharp and edgy design. Aggressive looking fuel tank with floating side cowls adds a dash of masculinity to its look, while the shining 3D emblem strengthens the legacy of brand Honda. Arrow shaped trendy side panel also contributes to the aggressive styling.
The beaming headlight provides high-precision illumination and looks stunning at the same time. The LED tail light is designed in a stylish H-shape. It has been aligned with clear winkers, which glimmer from a distance. Its ultra-modern design is inherent in its chrome-finished muffler, which also adds to the style appeal.
Powered by Honda Eco Technology(HET), the all new engine is enhanced with many advanced features, which makes it pro-technology. The latest 163cc mid-sized advanced Honda engine has long stroke which means extra torque and higher fuel efficiency. It achieves best in class compression ratio, for delivering the right punch of power. It is also equipped with weight balancer which reduces the vibrations.
CB Unicorn 160 with its wider wheelbase helps in maintaining stability. Combi-Brake System(CBS) significantly reduces the stopping distance giving the rider full confidence to enjoy the optimum speed without worrying about the brake operation.
The mono shock suspension helps in maintaining the center of gravity thus increasing the stability while taking sharp turns. The improved and upright sitting posture of the motorcycle adds a renewed comfort level for everyday riding. The CB Unicorn 160 is priced, at Rs 75, 535 for the standard variant; and Rs 80, 883 for the CBS variant in India.
