I bought Honda CB Twister in June 2011 at a price of 53, 000 from Mohali authorized Honda dealer. This bike is not good and sturdy as it looks. No doubt it has a good looking body but this factor alone does not fulfill all the aspirations of the customer who has paid a huge amount of money in buying such product from a renowned company. The overall performance of the bike is not satisfying.
Mileage:- The company assured a mileage of 60+ KM for one liter of petrol but it's not so. Mileage for this bike was observed to be around 50 KM for one liter of petrol which disappointed me. Company also claimed that after the first service of the bike which is after completing first 1000 KM or one month of usage, the bike's mileage and performance will increase but it was not so.
Comfort:- The comfort of this bike is fine for the driver but for the person sitting at the rear seat it is very uncomfortable. The seat is inclined and as one can even see in the picture the person sitting on the rear seat keeps on falling on the driver making it very uncomfortable for the driver to ride the bike.
Reliability:- The bike is not at all reliable. The braking system of a bike defines it's reliability and security which can not be seen in this bike. The brake is not reliable, if you have to brake suddenly then the bike skids and the bike becomes out of control. The reliability of the product also depends on the the body strength. The frame of the body is mere plastic except the petrol tank of being metallic.
Road grip:- The bike does not have a strong road grip as the tyres provided with the bike by company are not of good quality and gets ripped off very easily. The tyres of my bike got ripped within 6 months and the rear tyre got so much damaged that I changed it urgently within 6 months from the date of purchase.
Appeal:- The looks of this bike might seem to be appealing at first look but before buying you must consider various features like comfort, mileage, road grip and various other factors. This bike is not a strong product of such a big company.
