I bought this bike 2 months back, a Honda cb trigger std black, green (yuck) didn't appeal to me. Now was pondering to buy a 150 cc, my 1st 2 choices were Hero Cbz extreme or Honda Cb trigger. Yamaha Fz is indeed a beast, since I live in INDIA and not in a oil rich country, Yamaha Fz was put out of my choice as I had to travel daily for 60 Kms. I didn't find any problems with the Cbz extreme was really good but heard the service of hero was bad. Then I decided to go with the CB trigger.

HONDA CB TRIGGER surely lives to its name, a grt Bike I have ridden 560 kms and believe me I am getting a mileage of 53-55 kms and I have calculated it reserve to reserve riding it through the city, so on the Highway you might get what the company is saying of 60 km/l.Besides, the mileage the bike is packed with decent power of a 150cc engine but surely the fz, extreme wins the race hands down wen power alone is considered, but the plus side is if u need POWER, STYLE, and MILEAGE there is no other Bike in the market all 3 in the 150 cc segment other than the CB TRIGGER.

Well I needed all 3 so I chose the CB Trigger and am loving It. The Digital meter is EXCELLENT wit 2 TRIP meters and the luxury of a digital clock. I personally luv the MUSCLED up SILENCER also gave it a sporty look.

Now, Honda should really consider the price factor the most expensive model with cbs costs almost 90k (Showroom price) which is really awkward wen u get MUCH better bikes at that price But wen the CB TRIGGER STD @ the on road price of 80000, in Kerala surely sweetens the deal.

My opinion go for the STD, if u r eager abt a rear disc it vl cost u to 3-4k more, the DLX version but in Indian roads due to rainy seasons its always best to hav a combination of drum and disc as drums perform much better in wet conditions than disc brakes. The CB Unicorn is also gr8 but paying out almost 75k on the road price and not even having a digital meter really puts me down and its styling has really become obsolete.

In short if ur looking for power and style alone in a 150cc go for Yamha FZ, or Hero cbz xtreme otherwise opt the CB TRIGGER STD, u get POWER, MILEAGE and STYLE. Baschandru021y it depends on an individuals perspective wat he is looking for in a 150 cc bike.
