Powered by a 124.7 cc four stroke, air cooled, SOHC engine featuring swirl induction. The engine with a bore x stroke ratio of 52.4 mm X 57.86 mm develops 10.12 Bhp of peak power @ 7, 500 rpm and 10.54 NM of torque @ 5, 500 rpm. Honda calls this engine an'Optimax' engine and it has been engineered to provide optimum output with minimum input. This engine has been around for a while now, right from the time the CB Shine was introduced in 2006. It has received minor tweaks over the years but essentially remains the same unit as seen in 2006. This is mated to a four speed transmission featuring an all up shift pattern.
