Honda Hornet - Not an impressive bike

Initially I booked honda hornet before it was displayed in the showrooms by seeing the specifications and pre-launch reviews. When I did the test drive I was totally upset.(The old CB unicorn and new CB unicorn are much better).

Pros:

Honda unicorn engine

Cons:

  1. Less weight - hence doesn't feel like riding a bike. it was more like bicycle

  2. The length of the handle bar was too short when compared to its competitors(gixer / FZ). - hence tall men cannot use it for longer distance

  3. Over priced

  4. carburetor - no fuel injection.

  5. no split seat - the rider seat is not very comfortable - fat men cannot use or lean men cannot use for longer distance.

  6. RPM - honda claims more bhp power say 15+ at  8500 RPM . Actually it is not useful for riders. because -  speed at 50-55 kms/hr only consumes 4000-4500 RPMs in all bikes. You never get a chance to go at 100-105 kms/hr to utilize 8500 RPMs fully. ESPECIALLY IN CITY.
