My True and genuine review of Honda Brio . Review on Honda Brio

I purchased a Honda Brio SMT on 1 June 2013 and For last 10 days or so I was thinking to write my review for this car so that someone might get some help. So lets start with my review .

Two months back I decided to buy a car. My budget was 4-4.5 lacs and I was looking for all basic features with fuel economy. I was not looking for  advance features like airbags or abs. so I started with Ford figo. I dint test drove that .  so cant say about its engine and performance but by looks and space inside it looked like a great car. but basic model which was in my budget was too basic with features and the model I liked was around 4.9 lacs. I agreed on that price too but then on many reviews I found it gives only 10-11 km\l. hence i dropped figo.. then  came i10. I almost decided in favour of i10 but then many users of i10 told me about its poor mileage . . .it merely gives 10-11 km\l as against 17-18 claimed by company , , , , and I droped i10 too.

I was never a fan of santro so didn't even consider that. next came wagon R. I surfed net and test drove also and found only good thing  in this car. Its very fuel efficient . . . but looks , performance , AC , pickup , , its box type shape, comfort was nowhere. in my test drive I found difficulty to compete with even few bikes ..... but its mileage is amazing.

So guys if you are only looking for the fuel economy go for wagan R without even thinking. With so less price you will get all features put cng kit  and enjoy car in a running cost of pulser bikes. I put wagan R idea aside and looked for other options. I tried polo, beat , micra , swift , i20 but I found some or other cons in each of them or they were out of my budget. then on net I look for honda Brio. I had seen this before and I loved its looks. but  by its looks I assumed  it to be very small from inside. its back is little awkward and fuel economy too  were among  my concerns but at last I was left with either Wagan R or honda Brio  because fuel efficiency was my prime concern. on many review I found that honda brio is one of the  most fuel efficient car in its segment.

So  finally I took risk and decide in favour of honda brio, I knew its mileage will never exceed that of Wagan R , , , but I decide to  sacrifice my 3-4 km\l mileage because of good looks, comfort and honda brand of Brio. Purchasing, , I bought Honda brio  SMT ( Urban Titanium ) from Pearl Honda sec. 63 , noida , , in 4.9 Lacs , , , , they gave me free gear lock and car cover with accessories. showroom staff was good and kept their commitments. though they supplied poor gear lock and car freshener but I dont care that. My Findings : Pros :: I was so delighted with this car that I didn't even notices car mileage which we can see courtesy feature given in car. I was lost in its comfort , engine is so smooth and  super silent.

Look and Style Superb styling!!! Very Good Looking from front is as big as swift rear look is awesome .Comfort Rear seat space has left something to be desired for 6 feet. Interior is grt. What else people wants in this section. Comfort Front seat as well as rear seat is also very comfortable. Pickup Grt ... I ve never seen a small hatchback having so much space. Its humungous. Comfortably seats 5 with fantastic leg room and head space. eco light added feature . visibility is very good all around the car through windows and mirrors. parking is very easy with its min turning radius steering is super smooth and gives immense pleasure to the drivers. Cons ::   boot space is very small , though it is quiet deep . car height is a little low. I have no probs as I am 5.5 ft only but 6ft+ people may find difficulties. hatch is made of glass and I always fear about it. I personally found gear box a little notch and I hope it will go smooth with time. rear suspension too is not very good. also , its monsoon time here in noida , , , and I found it very difficult to drive without defogger and rear wiper. Mileage ::

here comes the main factor I was looking while deciding the car . till 250 kms I never saw mileage indicator. and when I saw it  i was really disappointing  . after 250 km it was 10.6km l. I was so disheartening. so sadthen I sit for a while and thought about some factors. like I am a new driver I used AC all time . car never run in 5th gear but most of times in 2nd or 3rd gear. next time I drive my brio I turned AC off used 4th or 5th gear with 1k to 1.5k RPM that made eco light turned on . . my consistent speed is 50-70km\hr. I never exceeded 80 km\h . . and again I was delighted  it gave a mileage of 17km\l on highway. its been 9 days with 600 kms and I am using same tricks\skills while driving my car on highways and getting a consistent 19-20 km\l on highways I got max 22km\l  that is without AC, with AC it is 17 only. I have attached photograph of mileagethough in city I am getting 13-14 km\l only.

I hope it will improve after service. Conclusion. I am surprised why honda brio sale is not so high despite of being such a awesome car. price  might be a factor as you will get a car with same features in around 40-50k less that fo Brio.

I have narrated my own experience about brio now its upon you to read and decide whether to go for this or not. I will update my review once I am done with first service. Any queries or suggestions are most welcome . . .
