Honda BRIO is actually a well built car. It is for those who value quality. I have a BRIO SMT.
One gets the following by acquiring a BRIO
Reliability of Honda
The pride of having an i-vtech
A distinct car(at least from the rear)
The 1.2L engine offers a spirited driving experience. It is surely one of the best performing cars in the segment. The exhaust note changes to that of a sports car at around 3500rpms. It becomes more exhilarating at higher rev bands. Also, it performs well with 4 passengers and the AC turned ON. The only downside in such situations is that one has to choose the correct gears or has to wait till the i-vtech kicks in to unleash a roaring beast.
There is plenty of room in the front & rear. The front seats offer decent support.
and the rear ones are spacious enough to accomodate 3. There is no compromise on rear leg room either. But the height of the rear head rest is a let down. Unlike most reviews the boot is not that much small. It offers more than enough space for a small family except for airport runs. The dash board and the center console doesnt offer a rich feel like its competitors but still has managed to look cute and simple.
The steering is very light. The car handles well in city, highways and hilly roads equally. BRIO stays planted even at 130+kmph. There are no disturbing vibrations and the engine doesnt struggle even at high rated speeds.
If driven well it manages to give 17-18kmpl with the AC turned ON. And if driven exceptionally well, without the AC, may offer upto 24kmpl(ahem.)
Honda BRIO is a fun machine with distinct looks, good comfort, decent mileage and in short value for money.
