My Honda Brio VX AT is 2 months old now and already have 1800+ kms on her. Sharing some of my experiences:
> Dealership Experience: Excellent during sales experience to buy this car from Hallmark Honda, Nerul. From 1st visit till delivery, all smooth sailed. No major freebies except full carpet.
> Service Experience: 1st Service is done recently which was free of cost. Hallmark Honda, Thane picked up vehicle from office and dropped it back in the evening. No surprises at all.
> About Car:
Positives:
Honda's 'State Of Art' Engine - It has rocking power with quiet operation.. just zooms through the traffic.
Smooth Steering and maneuver : My major driving so far in city in heavy traffic, rains, small lanes and yes 'potholes' in Thane/Mumbai. Steering and control never let me disappointed so far.
Being Automatic: I bought this for my wife as she is used to Automatic car since we were in US earlier. Auto transmission is quite smooth and reliable, no hiccups or noise while gears are up or down.
Comfort: Driving is piece of cake on highways. I had 2 long drives so far (Thane-Pune and Thane-Mahabaleshwar). Both were pleasant and non-tiring for me and my family.
Cabin Space: I am 6'1'' though leg room and headroom is not an issue. Family loves back seat with sufficient leg room.
Parking: Parking is way easy with this car. I also have reverse assistant (no cam) which helps a lot in congested parking areas in city.
I saw lots of complaints about boot space of this car. But it is really good for 2 cabin size bags with stuff tucked in gaps.
Defogger works great so far and very useful in rains.
Looks: Standouts in traffic and you get appreciative sights to your car. A real different car in the crowd of i10s, 20s, maruti suzukis around in the city.
Negatives:
Mileage: Even though they claim it to be 19+ (Highway) and 16+ (City) for AT models, I am getting around max 10 kmpl in city and max 13 on highways... never crossed 13 yet. I do 'soft' driving mostly with ECO light ON. I use trip meter to observe it and regularly enter fuel entries with odometer readings in my app 'aCar'. I yet to reach dealership with this issue.
Low ground clearance: I knew this before buying the car but accepted it by looking at other wow factors. I banged its bottom couple of times during night-time driving.
Wide/long dashboard leading to windshield (waste of space as per me).
No Gear indicators near gear rod. Have to check front panel for that at night.
Color - Beige: This is another thing we compromised for. I would love to have black or grey interiors.
Overall I do not have regret buying this car... enjoying our drives so far.
