This is my first Review. So here I go. I decided to buy a two wheeler for my office conveying purpose. I had to choose between Honda ans Suzuki in the scooter category. I also wanted something which my wife can handle easily. I got suggestions from my friends as it happens and was said that there is not much differences between Access and any Honda Schooter. I checked with the Suzuki Show room first and they announced that Access has a waiting period of 4 months. I was little disappointed because of the same. Hence with no other choice left I had to look at Honda.
I was in need of a vehicle at the earliest and was said by one of the Honda showroom in Kanakpura that Honda Aviator will be delivered in 15 days and also that its a best deal.
With its tele- shocks feature, it appeared to be a good vehicle. Also I had received good reviews about it. I was also suggested that HONDA is good for its engine. So I became the owner of a Honda Activa on 16-07-2011.
I have been using it for regular office purpose. its been very smooth and smooth to drive. The only problem being that the vehicle tends to loose its control in heavy wind as for its light weight body. Initially I got a mileage of 35km/l however after the first servicing I started getting 40 Km/L.
My actual problem started after my third Servicing. A new Authorized dealer and service Center which opened in Old Madras Road(Pai-Layout). They did not tightened few nuts and bolts properly, which I noticed and asked them to do. To add to the trouble. They did not tightened the oild cap and oil started leaking. the second day the entire oil was out and the Engine was seized. I pushed it to the service center and yelled on them. The kept the vehicle for three days and gave it back to me. Buy then the engine was repaired once.
As the center is near to my house I was forced to give to them again for servicing.(Yes! I sound foolish here). Well! This time again they have spoilt my vehicle completely.
My suggestion is that Suzuki Access is far better vehicle than HONDA. Also would not recommend even my enemies to go for the Honda Service Center on the Old Madras Road. I have been informed by others that there are a total of 15 cases against them currently.
