Honda Amaze Petrol is like mini Honda City in terms of space, comfort, driving experience.
It has little less pick up in city and highway when AC is ON. It gives mileage of 13 kmpl. It lacks few features compared to its rival like, air bags and ABS in the same price range models.
Honda's brake in this car is not up to the mark, as I have no ABS model. Normal braking has rolling the car when driving above 60 kmph. Overall, it is good model from Honda and it can sell more if they improve it and reduce price.
Magnum Honda gave JK tyres as compared to MRF or Goodyear tyres.
Despite of my complaints, they did nothing to satisfy my demand, so I give low rank to them.
Adding my long term review:
It has been more than 2 yrs now with Honda amaze S petrol. We are satisfied with its good performance overall. IT gives me 12-13 kmpl in city and around 16 kmpl on highways.
Had done 3-4 long drives of 600 km in day with it and Amaze has been very good. In high summer, car with more than avg AC struggles to get good speed in 2nd-3rd gear.
Servicing after the free service is going around 2500+ Rs and that can be worry for some as during free service, it hardly goes beyond 1500-1800 Rs.
Honda should give more features like bluetooth and ABS as standard in Amaze to make it better model as current sub compact cars are surely better than Amaze.
