Punctures of vehicles is a very common thing in India.To my knowledge Pleasure and Activa are the only scooters having puncture resistant TUBES. Others have puncture resistant TYRES.
This should be kept in mind before purchasing a scooter. I have Activa 100 cc model purchased in 2001 jan. and till today I have never had an occasion when I was stranded on road due to puncture.On the con side I have experienced the following.
Height of the seat is much and it gives problems initially while riding. Then you get used to it. I never got mileage better than 38 km per ltr.Battery works well for 2 years. Electricles Cables connecting swich burn and need replacement . It is also not very comfortable for the pillion seat passenger. He continuiously slides down. Young people may call this a pro though!. In all I found this scooter very good. It has masculine look.It is smooth to ride on bumpy roads .Has good suspension. I use my scooter for my daily needs instead of using auto.
