My friend bought this scooty two years ago . This a perfect scooty among many more that are available in market.
In terms of mileage, its mileage is better than that of available scooties in market. I have an option of purchase scooty or a bike but I preffered scooty as there are many benefits for taken a scooty as compared to bike. your legs are safe in scooty . multiples handling is there in scooty that is either you or your wife can use a scooty and one more thing which I like about scooty is that you can bring goods easily by putting them between your legs.
A perfect choice
Style Activa 125 is one of the most stylish scooter in its segment except Vespa. Headlight and taillght are very good looking. Fit and finish of handlebar buttons and Digital console are very good loking.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Activa125 as name says it has more powerful 125cc engine which packs a load of power. it will give you extreme pickup. I have achieved topspeed of 91kmph with it. with this type of pickup you can easily flee around traffic and highways, too.
0-40 ia very fast and easy
50-60 Engine lacks of torque and because of that it creates a lot of vibration and thumping.
60-80 it feels like floating on the road, it remains very calm and steady at high speed, its very good to be at 70kmph.
85 it makes very loud noise of topspeed.
overtaking at 70kmph is very easy too just give it some throttle and it will give you power as much you want.
It is very good to ride at higher speeds but it can be easily overheated too. Because of overheating side panels are heated to and it effects legs of passenger.
If you drive it 80kmph constantly for 1 hour it will overheat and cutoff the power but I have never overheated it.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is extreme and you can drive it constantly for 2-3 hours with ease but after 3 hours you will start felling pain in your shoulder and back. Handling is good, grip of the tyres are good. You can easily flick it into the corner with ease.
After 2 months front panel of the scooter starts vibrating and at lower speed it is very bad, but when you go 40kmph or up vibration will be gone.
I liked the braking of Activa125, because of CBS [ Combi braking system ] it effectively stops bike in no time and without any tyre locking or screeching.
I suggest you to just loosen the front tyre brake bolt of [CBS] and fasten the rear tyre bolt hard to get effective braking.
Final Words Activa 125 is greatest activa and it has same power as other Activa 110 but because of plenty of torque it wins the RACE.
Areas of improvement Issue of Overheating could be resolved, Issue of vibation could be resolved.
