I would like to bring that i have purchased honda activa on 30th jan 2008. Before first service, the battery gone and self start is not working. While I made complaint to the dealer m/s kun honda, adyar, chennai, they said that during service it will be checked. But when i took the vehicle after service it was good and self start worked. But, with a gap of 3 hours again self start is not working.
Immediately the next day i made a complaint that battery is not working properly since i could not make self start. Those people asked me to bring back the vehicle, even though i have specifically made complaint that battery to be changed, again for check up. Hence, from this i understood that free serivce is just keeping the vehicle inside the garage for 4 to 5 hours and just water wash and oil change and my complaint still persists and there is no proper response from any person including the factory (gurgaon).
Previously I had kinectic honda, which self start even after 6 or 7 hours it will start within a touch. So, hence I recommend all new buyers beware of the battery. This is my personal experience and even till today (15.03.2008) the problem not yet solved by the dealers.
