Yesterday I took delivery of two units of Honda Activa from B U Bhandari, Pune 411001 and wish to give the following feedback regarding mis-selling / wrong selling by your Dealer.
1) Without informing me your dealer has billed us for some discount coupon book(PROTEK BOOK) printed by the Dealer - invoice value - Rs. 250. I never wanted this and without even my permission I have been forced to pay for this. The dealer while taking the payment for the vehicle adds this to the basic price of the vehicle but at the time of delivery this does not appear in the Vehicle Invoice but appears as part of accessories.
2) I was informed that the extended warranty is compulsorily to be taken, whereas afterwards I found that it was not true, your dealer has misinformed me and compelled to purchase the extended warranty, for this I had to pay Rs 380 extra.
3) Dealer has charged Rs. 500 for the chemical coating so as to prevent scratches on the vehicle body but the same was done in front of me while taking the delivery and it is just wax polishing and not worth Rs. 500. Again taken for a ride in name of chemical treatment your dealer just wax polishes the vehicle in 10 minutes.
I feel that the above behavior / incidents do not reflect a good customer orientation from the Honda company and I would like to hear from you on the above.
I know it is a sellers’ market for Honda Activa but in that case you raise the price of the vehicle rather than fleecing customers in the above manner.
