Oldie's friend but be ready for starting problems. Review on Honda Activa

I purchased Honda activa in 2009 Feb and was unsatisfied so sold it within a year. However it has got its pro and cons I tell you who is ideal customer for this bike and who are not.

Ideal customers of Honda Activa -

1. Old people 50+ uncles, bike ll offer comfort seating, smooth ride good stability low maintenance

   
   




2. Couples who both are in service and drive their personal cars but want a two vehicle to use sometime

   
   

For other people like;

College girls or ladies in service or couples commuting daily on two wheeler it is not a good option at all because;

1. Any daily commuter cant afford its poor mileage 35-40 kmpl normally, 45 if u r very lucky ( I did all servicing every 3 months regularly still average didnt touch 45 ever)

   
   




2. Low power, so a couple in metro city cant use this bike... its 100cc engine is simply not meant for it

   
   




3. Starting Problem - even if you give choke and accelerator I had to kick 8-15 times every morning. For rest of the day I could use self start though but again its battery dries out very fast compared to any other vehicle in indian market.

   
   

So this vehicle is good for old uncles and those families who use cars always but for some rare use they want to have a two wheeler for any ladies scooty or access125 are much better options and for men you should for bikes never think of Activa.
