Honda should recall its Activa to replace front shockers, centre stand and right brake lever due ill fitting and irritating noise
i had purchased and an ACTIVA HET ON 06 Mar 2013. Though the scooter is good but I assume that due to gud demand, Quality Assurance has been compromised specially the parts supplied from OEMs, namely Front Shockers, Centre Stand and Brake Levers to be precise.
*==Initially I thought that this was the issue with my scooter only, but when I went to service centre to get it rectified, I found another four month old Activa owner complaining about same issues Shocker
noise, centre stand and Right break lever.
==** I needed no more clarification to made up my mind that these issues relate to designing fault and mismatch/poor quality/fittings of parts. Service technician, though cooperative enough, revealed that these issues are common in all Activa scooters delivered in last six months. Let me elaborate the issues:-
(a) Shockers, especially fronts ones, which produce too much of
irritating noise while riding the scooters.
(b) Centre stand was also noisy.
(c) Right break lever remains loose and produces thud sound whenever.
the scooter passes through even a little pot hole or bump. It is too irritating.
I had ever been a true admirer of Honda and its technological expertise but these multiple issues with too many customers give me a reasons to rethink on my belief. Moreover, if these issues are so rampant and identical, wasn't it a fit case of RECALL by HONDA?
