Activa is still the King in its segment. Review on Honda Activa

Let me explain it to you

1) I got my activa booked at saphire Honda in Bangalore and I got the vehicle delivered in time and so i did not have much problem in getting the delivery of the vehicle

2) Looks

I personally find the new activa a food looking vehicle when compared to the other vehicles in its category. It has much better and a improved face with clear indicators in the front and rear and these features give the vehicle an upmarket look .

3) Specifications

I got an metallic pearl colour white activa . Its one of the best looking colours . I bought a dlx variant which comes with a magnetic shutter and a combi brake system . It also gets the mrf's nylo grip tyres . Frankly speaking the combi brake system is not so great and it works only upto a certain extent . The magnetic shutter is a very good anti theft feature and that's worth paying for .

4) Handling and control

The activa handles pretty well because of its reduced weight and also because of the introduction of the nylo grip tyres . Over all its a good handler .

5) Mileage

I don't care much about the mileage and i run only in the economy mode . So the vehicle delivers a mileage of 40+ kms which is a decent mileage

Summary

I am writing this review after clocking the 1st 1000 kms. I don plan to get the vehicle serviced at the company . I go to a local qualified mechanic who checks the engine and changes the oil. I heard that the Honda guys replace the original parts from the vehicle. Also the storage space is very good which is a great boon .

I suggest you to buy an activa if you are looking for a good reliable and trendy scooter .
