Attention Readers!: The following info.(at the end of this review) is shocking & interesting for all the readers who are interested to know about Activas. And this info. is also for some critics who ridiculed me by not believing in my honest review which I have written after analysing the performance for one full year. It can't get bigger than this. Now its 100% proof (its official but kept discreet by Honda) that Honda Activas indeed are defective and tilts towards right side. After reading the facts at the end of this mail you can cross-check with any of the Automotive Engineer or any experienced Auto Technician.

Well by reading the above title, many guys out there may look at me curiously! But it is a fact that by driving Honda Activa, it will definitely jeopardise the users health.

Since it comes from Honda, I never bothered to test drive it before I purchased it. From the very first day of my purchase of Activa, I have found that there is something wrong with its balance and it tilts towards right side while moving.

Being myself associated with Automotive Industry in my own capacity, I have to admit that I have been another victim of this Catastrophic Vehicle ''Honda Activa''. Now coming to the point, the basic science of any two wheeler is, it should move perpendicular to the ground, on a reasonably good surface road. But Activa has been designed in such a way that, it tilts towards 'right' side while moving. And the tilt is quite evident at slow speeds 15kmph-35kmph. And that is the speed we normally drive on our Indian city traffic conditions!

To cross check and confirm, I have driven and tested many Honda Activas. To my astonishment I have found that maximum Activas have this right tilting problem. Because of this problem I am experiencing a severe pain in my spine region(right side) and right leg.

To confirm the defect, I have checked and observed the Activas in the following way: 1. I have observed several moving Activas on the road and found that they tilt towards right side, when you observe the moving Activa from the rear. Vice-versa when you observe it from the front.

  1. By driving an Activa especially at the speed of 15kmph-35kmph, I cleary felt my seating position has slided towards right side because it tilts towards right.

  2. The final confirmation was, on a plane surface road I released my hands off the handle bar to check for its balance at the above mentioned speeds. I found that it clearly falls towards right side.

And the mother of all confirmations was, on many Activas, the extra seat cover which we put to protect the original seat cover, slides towards right side only. I have taken several pictures of different Activas to claim my defect to dumb and deaf Honda people. But their behaviour was so arrogant that they tried to suppress the problem by brushing aside my claim. Instead of taking the feedback and understanding the problem.

I put a simple yet crucial question to Honda guys: 1. Why the extra seat cover slides towards right side only in Honda Activas?

  1. And why such right slide is not there in the other vehicles such as Honda Eterno, Honda Dio, Kinetic Honda and for god sake even in our very old and reliable Bajaj Chetak?

They are still trying to escape to give this answer. And surprisingly our India's leading Auto Magazines have written very much positive about Honda Activa! Wow!

And when I posed the same above questions to the leading Auto magazines, they too have not answered. Then why the hell should they write a very positive report about Activa, when they are not in a position to answer my queries.

Because of such Auto manufacturer and such Auto Magazines the regular consumer of such defective products will definitely, will be forced to put his health in jeopardy by riding a Catastrophic vehicle called Honda Activa.

In this regard, from the very first week of my purchase I have posted Registered Posts and written several E-mails to Honda, India. But no response has come yet. Now my vehicle is 11 months old. All they said once was, If I had any complaints then I should go and complain ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India).

Because according to Honda (india) , it is they who certify such defective vehicles it seems! wow!

Here I like to ask, When you (honda) sell such vehicles, why the hell we should complain to ARAI? Why don't you entrust the job of selling Activas to ARAI? Even I, E-mailed to ARAI. But they too were mum, and have not responded till yet!

Recently, I posted a Registered Post to Honda, Japan with all the photographs that I have taken of Activas, updating them about Honda (india)'s performance and manufacturing/designing abilities! No response yet!

I suggest whoever wants to buy this catastrophic vehicle, buy it, if you don't love your SPINE and family. Because I am very much sure that over a period of time every Honda Activa user will get effected with spine and back related problems!

What a strategy Honda has adopted in paralysing and possibly making Indian male exposing to impotency and females with back related problems!!

Take care and choose well before you buy any vehicle! And anybody wants to see the Honda Activa pics. of right slide of seat covers, post in your e-mail id and I will send them to you!

For Your Eyes Only! Click the below links and give some thought to these pictures which I have captured it on the streets of Hyderabad.

Shocking News: After several E-mails, Postals to Honda, India & Honda, Japan complaining about the right tilt in Honda Activas, they didn't acknowledge my complain. I went to the extent of Photographing other Activas and also made a Video Film of my Activa (which I sent to Honda) driving on several different roads in Hyderabad to show that it has no balance and tilts towards right side.

Now the Honda, India has found an alibi of coming up with Euro-II Activa with a catalytic convertor and minor modification to show to the general public that its just an Euro-II model. But what the general public doesn't know is that the Honda has completely redesigned the following apart from some superficial changes.

  1. Fork Set (Which is very crucial in balancing & control of the vehicle)

  2. Frame Line (Which is heart of Ergonomics for correct balance)

  3. Crank Case (In a way it too plays a role in balancing of the vehicle)

For some skeptics who still have a problem in believing this, here are the following part numbers for the old activa and the Euro-II Activa.

  1. Crank Case- 110-kpl-900 (old), 1100-kpl-900 (new)

  2. Frame- 50100-kpl-901 (old), 50100-kpl-840 (new)

  3. Fork Set- 51110-kpl-900 (old), 51110-kpl-840 (new)

You can figure out for yourselves. Wait...Wait...Wait...the fun begins here...

Wonder what role the Frame, Crank Case and Fork Set has to play in this Euro-II business?

Honda has been selling Activa since 2001 and sold over 50 lakh vehicles. And now they have silently & secretly changed these very crucial parts. Does this not convey that all these 10 lakh vehicles are defective and have problem with balance and this they(honda) are aware of it too and thats why they took this step of redesigning?

Because all Euro-II is about emission levels and reducing it to the maximum.

Some readers might be interested to know the date of this redesigned Activas, right?

Ok. Its from 15 March 2005 (in Hyderabad).

The fun is not yet over. After this redesigning too the right tilts endures in Activas(observation). I have yet to take a thorough test drive before coming to a conclusion on this Euro-II Activa!

Wow! Information is Powerful!
